After more than 32 years of hard work, the founders of Diversified Refrigeration, Gary and Cheryl Derr, sold the business in December 2020 to enjoy a well-earned retirement. The new owner, Sprague Cook, is a former naval officer and a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy with more than 25 years of engineering and construction experience, including eight years involved in the project management, engineering, procurement, installation, and startup of industrial Refrigeration and central cooling system projects.
